Jimmy Dee PottsJimmy Dee Potts passed away Sunday, April 14th, 2019, at his home in Giles County. He was born in Williamson County, Tennessee on August 5th, 1939 and was 79 years old.
Jimmy served in the Amy National Guard. He and his brother operated a drive-in market in Nashville for a number of years. He retired from the Pony Express where he operated as a courier. Jimmy loved the outdoors hunting and fishing.

Visitation will be 12:00 until 1:30 Tuesday, April 16th, 2019, Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 2:00pm at the Chapman Cemetery on Little Dry Creek Road.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Mildred Luckett Potts. Brother Donald Potts. Sister Dorothy Daugherty. His son Tommie C. (Timmy) Johns, Jr.
He is survived by his,
Wife, Barbara Ranck Potts of Ethridge.
Daughter, Deidra Hickman of Lynnville.
Son, Chris Johns of Pulaski.
Brothers, Calvin Potts of Nashville.
Ronald Potts of Nashville.
Zelbert Potts of Columbia.
Granddaughters, Carlie Maxwell of Silver Springs, TN. and Brianna Hamlet of Livingston, TN.
Great-grandchildren, Adrianna Maxwell, Kiari Maxwell, Carter Hamlet, Letty Hamlet, and Landon Hamlet.
His beloved dog Bella.
