
He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Carla Carwile; one brother, Buddy Carwile; two sisters, Annette Lauderdale and Judy Brown.
Mr. Carwile attended Athens High School. He retired from Clayton Homes at the age of 54, where he was a production manager. Mr. Carwile was an avid Alabama Football fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Mary; three daughters, Deborah Lewis (Roger), Geri Green, Michelle Thompson (Buck); one son, Michael Ball; two sisters, Dorothy Lyles and Patsy Young; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Summer, Terry, Kaitlyn, Haley, Savannah and Brandon; five great-grandchildren, Winter, Michael, Annajean, Evelyn and Braelynn.
The funeral service will be Friday, January 17, 2025 at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home, with the visitation one hour before the service. Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roger Lewis, Buck Thompson, Randy Davis, Michael Ball, Pete Carwile and Ricky Carwile.
