Jimmy Carrol Smith age 72, of Beaverton, AL passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at UAB Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Webb Cemetery, Bro. Danny Stanford to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 12:30pm until 2:00pm.
Jimmy was born on December 9, 1946 in Sulligent, AL to the late Robert Addison Smith and the late Ruby Maxine Smith. He attended Sulligent High School, Sulligent, AL. Jimmy worked in the garment factory and was retired from McCoy MFG in Sulligent, AL. He enjoyed fishing and watching Alabama football.
