Funeral service for Jimmy Brooks age 66 of Hartselle will be Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10:00am at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Donnie McDonald officiating with burial in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Brooks who died on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital was born September 30, 1951 in Morgan County to Leldon Olice Brooks and Ivalene Bates Brooks. He loved his work as a truck driver and cherished his wife, children and grandchild.
He is survived by his wife; Sherry Brooks, a son; David Brooks, a daughter; Kerry Richardson, a brother; Lloyd Brooks (Gloria) and a grandson; Aaron Brooks.
Kevin Driggers, Michael Driggers, Brandon Thomas, Trevor Thomas, Tyler Jackson and Lloyd “Man” Brooks will serve as pallbearers.
