Jimmy Blaine Farrington, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Excel, and a member of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Peppers Farrington.
He is survived by special friend and caregiver, Karen Owens of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Shirley Golden of Kingsport, TN; two special cousins, Sharon Jessop of Franklin, TN and Denise Huckaba of Lawrenceburg, TN; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 12:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2020, with Danny Huckaba officiating. Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
