Jimmie Lee Jordan Mize, 86 of Union Grove passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at her residence. She was born September 2, 1936 the daughter of Herbert Noel Jordan and Alice Leona Adams Jordan. She was a graduate of Arab High School, Class of 1954 and married Kenneth G. Mize November 24, 1955. She was retired from the Huntsville City School System and a member of the Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years Ken Mize; daughters: Debbie Daniels and Kenna Barnett (Gary); sons: Barry Mize (Lynda) and Scott Mize (Steve Queen); two grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sisters: Sara Voss, Billie May (Tom) and Joyce Romeo; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the Brookwood Cemetery with Elder Matt Jordan officiating, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make donations to Hospice of North Alabama.
