Jimmie Lane Lewis 74, of Ardmore, AL died Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Monday, September 9, 1946 in Athens, AL, he was the son of Thomas Edward Lewis and Mary Jane Living Lewis. Jimmie lived in Ardmore all his life and was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Jean Claunch Lewis; brothers, Edward J. “Bugs” Lewis and Michael Dale Lewis.
He is survived by his son, John David (Amanda) Lewis, Huntsville, AL; brother, Jonnie (Karen Jean) Lewis, Pulaski, TN; sister-in-law, Marsha Rooker, Ardmore, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
The Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Lynn Marshall officiating.
Due to Covid-19 and the Statewide mandate mask will be required and must be worn at all times when entering the building and while in our facility. Also must practice 6ft. social distancing.
