Jimmie Elmo Greene, age 84, of Leoma, TN passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Pulaski, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired janitor for the Lawrence County School System, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mr. Greene served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Della Fincher Greene; and his wife, Bernice Huntley Greene.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, July 28, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Bethel Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 29, 2014, with Jessie Littrell and Daniel Huntley officiating. Mr. Greene will lie in state at the church from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Leoma, TN with full military honors.
