Jimmie "Craig" Wade Mr. Jimmie “Craig” Wade, a resident of Arab, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in Albertville on Saturday afternoon, March 21, 2026. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, on February 16, 1963, Craig was the son of Jimmy Ivory Wade and Ramona Bullock Wade. He was preceded in death by his wife, Adela Sanchez-Wade, who passed away in 2019.

Craig worked as a professional commercial truck driver. Operating and maneuvering large 18 wheeler vehicles was more relaxing than labor to him. Craig found other ways to relax as well. Those activities involved fishing, drag racing and building drag cars. He enjoyed western themed movies and TV shows and was a huge LSU football fan. His three beloved dogs, Bruiser, Jiggs and Mama D, were always by his side.

Craig is survived by his sons, Steven Wade and Jimmie Clifton Wade (Laura); stepsons, Albert Garcia (Gracie) and Lamar Garcia (Luisa); stepdaughter, Dawn Brazell (Tony); eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Todd Wade (Melissa) and Jaye Wade (Angie); sister, Tammy ford (Mike).
Craig is preceded in death by his wife, Adela Sanchez-Wade; father, Jimmy I. Wade; and mother, Ramona B. Wade.

The family has chosen to honor Craig’s wishes for cremation. A memorial visitation, a time to reminisce, honor and pay tribute to Craig and acknowledge what he meant to us, will be Friday, March 27, 2026 from 4:00 until 6:00pm at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel in Arab, AL.

Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
