Jim M. Hand Jim M. Hand, 67, of Arab, passed away on Saturday. Jim was born January 28, 1952 in Ft. Knox, KY. He graduated from Butler High School and from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a degree in Nursing. James retired from Huntsville Hospital after 20 years, where he served as a Psychiatric Nurse.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James and Frances Hand; brother, Michael Hand; and niece, Ensley Hand.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Hand, of Arab; children, Shannon Leigh Hand (Jennifer) and Victoria Allyse Lovelady (Michael), both of Huntsville; 11 grandchildren; brother, Patrick Hand (Nora); sisters, Noreen Hand and Judy Griffith (Bill) all of Huntsville; and step-children, Christina of Oklahoma and Richard of Huntsville.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity.

The family would like to thank Huntsville Hospital, doctors, and CCU1 staff, especially Kyra and Ann.
