Jillian Frances "Gigi"  Pasley

Jillian Frances “Gigi” Pasley, age 22, of Franklin, TN, passed away Nov. 22, 2020. Gigi embraced life and worked hard to keep a positive outlook despite the challenges she faced. As a four-time cancer survivor, she pushed forward with her desire to live, love and give. Her infectious laugh will be remembered by everyone she encountered.
She graduated from Centennial High School and attended both the University of Montevallo and Columbia State Community College. She was an advocate for those without a strong voice in various communities, including mental health, special health care needs and disabilities, learning differences, LGBTQIA and the homeless.
She was a founding member of the Department of Health and Family Voices of Tennessee’s Youth Advisory Council and served on the statewide Young Adult Leadership Council of Tennessee to inspire change, educate lawmakers and be a voice to help others.
She is preceded in death by twin sister, Jade Elizabeth Pasley. Survived by parents, Irvin and Jessica Pasley; brother, Myles Pasley; grandmothers, Gertrude Pasley, June Adams and Maxine Thurman Caruth. Visitation to honor and say goodbye to Gigi will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9 – 11 a.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitors must wear a mask and follow guidelines of social distancing (no handshakes, hugs or congregating for continued safety). The family appreciates your love and support and requests visitors wear bright colors to honor Gigi.
A private family funeral service will follow with Rev. Amanda Borchik officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, Gigi requested participation in her “More Than Six” ministry of providing fuel packs to the homeless in your community. The mission and a list of items will be available during visitation.
