Jill Leigh Nelms Geroca, 52 of Norfolk, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the home of her sister in Hulaco with her family by her side. Jill was born November 30, 1969, in Arab the daughter of Robert Eugene Nelms, Jr. and Margrette Guthrie Nelms. She was a graduate of Fairview High School Class of 1987, served in the US Air Force and worked at Nexcom in Norfolk, Virginia.
She is survived by her Husband: Andrew Geroca; Children: Andrea Kari Geroca (Asa Barksdale), Robert Andrew Nelms Geroca, Samuel Aron Nelms Geroca and Aidan James Nelms Geroca; Grandchildren: Angelina Renee Barksdale and Asa James Barksdale; Father: Robert Nelms; Sister: Manilia Hudson; Sisters-in-law: Rosalie Geroca, Karen Savage, Ofelia Micks and Gloria Serrano; Host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Ryan Baptist Church.
