Jewell Dean Barnett, 75 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Monday, June 13, 2016, in Rogersville, Alabama.
Born Monday, April 21, 1941 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Sam Glass and the late Cassie
Sloan Glass. She lived most of her life in the Ardmore area and was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, family activities, cooking and sewing.
Surviving are her husband: Ted Barnett of Ardmore, AL, son, Thad (Tara) Barnett of Ardmore, AL, sister, Betty Sue Scroggins of Lawrenceburg, TN and two grandchildren: Cheyenne Barnett and Sydney Sullivan.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Alan Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
