Jewel Dean Wakefield, age 93 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away November 12, 2021 at her residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church Haleyville.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. with Randy Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Wakefield is survived by her loving husband of 76 years, Oras Wakefield; children, Marlon (Sandra) Wakefield and Elaine (Warren) Miller; sister, Jessie (Frank) Hulsey; brother, Danny West; grandchildren, Shane (Heather) Wakefield, Celeste Miller, Amber (Brad) Taylor, Lance (Emily) Miller and Blakeley (Jared) Spann; and great grandchildren, Cody Wakefield, Brodie Spann, Liam Taylor, Finley Miller, Ella Kate Spann, Reid Miller and Drake Miller.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey West and Bertie West; stepmother, Oma Dee West Oliver; and brother, LaVerne West.
