Jettie Faye Farris Knight was born October 19, 1927 in Alcorn County, MS, the daughter of the late Troy Lee and Lettie Dee Bowers Farris.
She was united in marriage to James Arthor Knight on October 29, 1944. Mr. Knight preceded her in death on December 25, 1994.
Mrs. Knight was a member of Farmington Baptist Church in Farmington, MS and a long time member of the Eastern Star. She retired from Kay Windsor garment factory in Savannah, TN where Jetttie worked for over 40 years. She loved gardening, her neighbors and setting in a rocking chair on the front porch with Thumbelina in her lap.
Mrs. Knight departed this life on May 3, 2015 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 87 Year Old.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Johnson of Michie, TN; two grandchildren, Shane Ross Dickey and Jason Traye Dickey both of Michie, TN; a step grandchild, Candice Johnson of Austin, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Richard Leonard Johnson; and four silbings: Eva Wigginton, Ray V. Farris, Minnie Marie Smith and Marilynne Curtis.
