Jettie Burgett Alexander, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery. Sonny Bennett and Shannon Odom will officiate.
Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her Father-Walter James Burgett; Mother-Dorothy Mae Elizabeth Bennett Burgett; Grandparents-Emmett and Annie Bennett; Brothers-E.J. Burgett and Jimmy Ray Burgett.
She is survived by her Husband-Hollis Alexander; Daughter-Tonya Renae Alexander Hyche (James C. “Candy” Hyche); Son-John Hollis Alexander, Jr. (Angie); Sisters-Jewel Snow (Cecil, Jr. “Pudgy”), Geraldean Connell, Gloria Jean Estes (Jerry), Kathy Kelley (Earl), Shirley Burgett and Kay Burgett; Grandchildren-Ryan Hyche (Dani), Holli Hyche and Morgan Elizabeth Alexander; Great Grandson-Dillyn Richter; Host of Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Gideons International or Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
