Private family services for Mrs. Jessie Lee Holder, age 96, will be held on Friday with a private interment following.Mrs. Holder, a retired executive secretary for the Soil Conservation Service and member of the Trenton Church of Christ, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 in Memphis at the Methodist Hospice Residence on Quince.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Holder, Sr.; her parents, George and Dovie (Hinson) Barber; and two brothers, Lester Barber of Martin, TN and John Barber of Jackson, TN.
Mrs. Holder is survived by her two daughters, Debbie and husband Dr. Noel Florendo of Germantown, TN and Barbara and husband Dennis Hodges of Memphis, TN; one son, Aubrey O’Neal Holder, Jr. of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren, David Neal Rideout III of Memphis, TN, Kathryn Ashley McEwen of Memphis, TN, and Austin O’Neal Holder of Nashville, TN; four great grandchildren, Dawson, Brennan, Cash, and Reese; a sister, Louis Younger of Searcy, AR and a brother, Joey Barber of Maryville, TN.
