Jessie Don Smith, Sr., 72, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, peacefully at home. J. D. was born on July 14, 1948, in Belmont, MS, to Jessie and Helen Milam Smith. He was of the Baptist faith and worked at Blue Bell for thirty years. He loved spending time with his family. He is survived by three sons, Jessie Smith (Beth), Joey Smith (Rayna), and Billy Smith (Patti); four sisters, Myra George, Sherry Enlow (Doug), Vickie Self (Brian), and Yvonna Sharp (Benny); three grandchildren, Carson Smith, Chase Smith, and Bella Johnson; four step-grandchildren, Jimmie Lee Brown, Sabrina Brown, Raylianna Brown, and Erin Hindmon; three step-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Gilchrist (L. C.) and Karen Smith; three brothers-in-law, William Edgar Lambert, Randall Lambert (Sharon), and Billy Lambert (Loretta); and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lambert Smith; his parents, Jessie and Helen Milam Smith; his father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Victoria Lambert; one brother, Roger Smith; a sister-in-law, Betty Lambert; and four brothers-in-law, Otis George, Elmer Lambert, Eddie Lambert, and Lee Lambert. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 15, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Scott Webber. Visitation is scheduled for 9:00 until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 15, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka
