Jessie David Bullard, 89, of Decatur, passed away on February 6, 2025. Visitation will be Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Roselawn Cemetery.
Jessie is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bullard; sons, David Mark Bullard of Decatur and Barry Stephen (Belinda) Bullard of Decatur; granddaughter, Brooke Izurieta (Christian) of Birmingham, AL; grandson, Ben Bullard (Kendall) of Birmingham, AL; granddaughter, Scarlett Bullard of Palmetto, FL, and great-grandchildren Everett Bullard and Olivia Bullard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, H.A. and Nell Bullard of Decatur; grandson, Justin Bullard and sister, Pat Bullard Morgan.
Jessie was owner and President of EMI Power & Automation for almost 50 years and worked in the same industry for over 60 years. He was Past President of Flint Rescue Squad for many years and Regional Director of Electrical Apparatus Service Association.
Pallbearers: Ben Bullard, Christian Izurieta, Marcus Teague, Tony Morgan, Lynn Morgan and Chris Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children’s of Alabama, Birmingham, AL or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
