Jessie B. Griffy, age 88 of Milan, TN; formerly of Williamson County passed away August 23, 2018. J.B. was a member of Ponds Church of Christ and while living with his daughter he attended Fairview Church of Christ. Jessie worked for Colonial Bakery in Nashville for 44 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lee Walls Griffy; daughter, Jessie Lee Griffy; parents, Jessie T and Rosetta Griffy; brother, Issac Cleo Griffy and sister, Luella Cruthers. Survived by his daughter, Pamela Griffy Phillips of Milan, TN; sons, Robert T. and James L. Griffy of Primm Springs; sister, Jean Rochester of Decatur, AL; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ronald Mealer officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 4-8:00PM Saturday and one hour prior to the service Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Autism Speaks.
