Jessie A. Travis of Lawrenceburg passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Pulaski on October 19, 1945 and was 71 years old.
Mr. Travis was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He was retired from Rogers Group in Lawrenceburg.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow visitation on Monday at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Myers officiating.
Burial will take place in Oakhill Cemetery, Leoma, Tennessee.
Memorial donations are suggested to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tribute Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Irene Travis, parents, Jessie Ray and Betty Elizabeth Travis and sisters, Ruth and Joyce and 2 brothers, Robert Travis and Terry Travis.
He is survived by his,
Daughter, Tina Lee of Lawrenceburg
Grandchildren, Jonathan White and Natalie Lee (David) Mobbs
Sisters, Mary Birdsong, JoAnn (Paul) Price, and Julie Russell all of Pulaski
Many other relatives and friends also survive.
