Jessica Louise Burt, age 63 of Fort Payne, passed away on November 21, 2025 at her residence. She was born on June 4, 1962 in Jackson County to the late Richard & Rebecca Hobbs Floyd. Jessie worked many years at the Mapco atop Lookout Mountain in Fort Payne.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Burt; children, Kristie Mills, Bruce Burt, Frank (Rita) Burt, Melissa (Ricky) Davis, Tabitha Meadows, Brandon Meadows, Brian Burt, Jessica Brown, Joshua Brown, and Kelly Gorham; brother, Lawrence Floyd; sister, Donna Pennington; special friend, Jennifer McReynolds; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
