Funeral service for Jesse Lee Seal, age 84, of Decatur, will be Saturday, November 2, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Scotty Hogan officiating. The family will receive friends for three hours prior to service. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Seal, who died Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital – Parkway, was born January 31, 1929, in Colbert County, to Gordon Seal and Etta Mae Yocum Seal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Dobbs Seal. Mr. Seal was a United States Air Force veteran.
He is survived by three sons, Michael Lee Seal (Sandy) of Trinity, Timothy Hughel Seal (Debbie) of Trinity, and Gary Hector Seal (Alison) of Madison; one daughter, Judy Kay Knight (David) of Decatur; two brothers, Jimmy Seal and Ray Seal, both of Russellville; three sisters, Mary Thorn, Peggy Fuller, and Clovis Hamilton, all of Russellville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Seal, Bradley Seal, Jason Knight, Josh Anders, Mitchell Chance, Ryan Seal, and Nicholas Seal.
