Jesse Dean Dolberry (Pete), age 86, of Woodville passed away peacefully at his home
on Friday, March 22. Pete was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He served in the
US Army from 1963 to 1967 where he was stationed in Ft. Riley, Kansas with a brief
tour in Germany.
He is survived by his son and daughter in-law Steve and Angie Dolberry of Woodville,
his daughter and son-in-law Susan and Brent Stockman of Section, four grandchildren:
Chris (Amber) Dolberry, Kyle (Kaitlyn) Dolberry, Elizabeth (Chris) Law and Robby
(Alyssa) Stockman, and three great-grand children: Caleb (Kylie) Dolberry, Cameron
(Lannah) Dolberry, and Eevie Law, brothers: Charles Dolberry and Jerry Dolberry,
sisters, Margaret Taunton and Helen Manning, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Eva Jean Washburn Dolberry, his
parents Ollie and Stella Dolberry, brothers Jimmy Dolberry, Junior Dolberry, and sisters
Jo Pace, Jean Talley and Brenda Sanders.
No funeral service will be held at this time. There will be a private graveside service at
the Gold Cemetery at a later date. Scottsboro Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
