Jesse Coke, Jr., 79, of Glen, Mississippi, died Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was retired from the Mississippi Highway Patrol, and was an U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Burnsville Lodge #233 F&AM where he was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner. He was president of the Tishomingo County Singing Convention for 20 years, and loved listening to and promoting Gospel music and singings. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping people at any time. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday, December 22 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Interment will follow in Burnsville Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Foote Coke of Glen, MS; his mother, Jewel Wright Coke of Glen, MS; 1 son – Jay Coke (Jamie) of Glen, MS; 1 daughter – Mitzi Horn (Jeff) of Belmont, MS; 3 grandchildren – Jessica Rester (Samuel), Shana Vaughn (Samuel), and Dillon Horn; 2 step grandchildren – Julia and Emily Daniel; and 2 great grandchildren – Gideon and Sarah Rester. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Coke, Sr.
