Jesse Carl Rainey, age 15, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012. Visitation will be from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Colbert Heights High School Gymnasium. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Richard Holland and Buddy Dover officiating. The burial will be at the Community Cemetery on Baker Lane.
Jesse was a student at Colbert Heights High School where he played football and was a member of the National Honor Society.
He is survived by his beloved brother, Austin Rainey; mother, Regina Barfield of Pelham; father, Brian Rainey of Adamsville; grandparents, Carl E. “Sonny” and Linda Barfield with whom he lived and George and Emogene Rainey of Adamsville; uncle, Tommy Barfield; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers are his brother, Austin Rainey, Justin Jones, Patrick Gargis, Austin Archer, Bradley Oswalt, Josh Rogers, Victor Studioso and Harley Stutts.
