Jesse Allen Roland Profile Photo Jesse Allen Roland, born on August 18, 1992, in Selmer, TN, was a vibrant spirit whose heart touched everyone he encountered. He was the beloved son of Scott Roland and Sherilyn Cudworth Thompson, and the cherished brother to Alex, Tori, Hannah, Collin, and Carter.

Jesse departed this life on April 3, 2025, in Ramer, Tennessee, at the age of 32. He leaves behind his father, Scott Roland and wife Amy of Selmer, TN; his mother, Sherilyn Thompson of Picayune, MS; three sisters, Alex and Tori Thompson, and Hannah Settlemires; two brothers, Collin and Carter Misenhimer; his maternal grandparents, Gary and Jean Cudworth of Picayune, MS; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Curtis and Shirley Roland; and his stepmother, Ladonna Roland.

Jesse had an innate love for the outdoors, embracing every moment in nature—whether he was tending to the cows on the family farm, kayaking alongside family and friends, or simply soaking in the tranquil views from his porch. He found joy in the simple blessings of life and was always grateful for the beauty surrounding him.

A passionate music lover, Jesse often found comfort and inspiration in his favorite songs. His genuine kindness made him a friend to all, always eager to lend a helping hand or inspire those around him with words of encouragement.

Jesse had served as a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant at McNairy County Healthcare and was currently working at Love’s in Eastview. His caring nature was evident in every task he undertook, leaving a lasting impact on both colleagues and those he cared for.

Jesse will forever be 32. In our hearts and memories, he will always remain a vibrant spirit, full of life and love. Though his time with us was far too brief, the impact he made in those 32 years will resonate for a lifetime. In every smile and every shared moment, he reminded us of the beauty in kindness and the importance of connection. His laughter will echo in our minds, and his spirit will continue to inspire us to embrace each day with compassion and joy. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness will live on in all who knew him. “Forever 32”
