Jerry Wayne Schmidt, age 68, passed away on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, in his home with his family by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Marlene Boyett Schmidt; son, Jason Schmidt (Juli Schmidt); grandchildren, Jordan Cruse (Jack Cruse) and Jacob Schmidt; great-grandchildren Hudson, Ella, and Emma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Rachel Schmidt; two brothers and one sister; and survived by five sisters.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home, with burial following at Valley View Memorial Gardens
