Jerry Wayne Pierce, 66, of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. He is survived by his brothers, J. L. (Lore), Carl (Glenda), Marshall; sisters, Birdie and Linda; two sister in laws, Ruth Morgan and Kathleen Pierce. several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Ragsdale Cemetery in Gurley on Saturday, August 29th at 10:00 a.m. Matthew Flynn will be officiating. Contributions may be made to Jerry Wayne Pierce Memorial Fund at any Redstone Federal Credit Union branch. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
