Mr. Jerry Wayne Lockridge, age 76 of Lineville, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Lineville Health & Rehab. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
Born in Piedmont, Mr. Lockridge spent some of his life in Oxford and the last 10 years in Lineville. He worked as an inspector at the Anniston Army Depot for 32 years and was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Lockridge; two step daughters: Debbie Porter (David) and Judy Henderson, all of Lineville; his son, Joey Lockridge of Oxford; two brothers: Alan Lockridge (Grace) of Munford; Kenneth Lockridge (Brenda) of Coldwater; and his sister, Rita Roberts (Willward) of Rome, GA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Lester Lockridge and Nellie Lawrence Lockridge; and his son, Keith Lockridge.
Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of the arrangements.
