Jerry Wayne Jones, age 66, a resident of Nashville, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Tri-Star Southern Hills Medical Center.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 30th from 6-8PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A private graveside inurnment will be held at Polk Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on January 31, 1952 in Maury County, Jerry was the son of the late Robert Jones and the late Mable Parker Jones. Jerry was an avid cyclist who devoted his other spare time to helping friends build the best dragsters, go carts, and racing lawn tractors. He was a 1970 graduate of Spring Hill High School and attended Hohenwald Technical School.
He is survived by his sisters, Peggy (Larry) Jacobs of Columbia and Linda (David Lloyd) Jones of Lewisburg.
