Jerry Wayne Green, age 50, Russellville, Ala., passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012.
The visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville; the 2:00 p.m. funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Jason Green officiating. Interment will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonas Boyles, Jordan Boyles, Danny Stowe, Tim Wilson, Doil Akins and John Malone; with Andy Poss, John Hutchins and Ken Baird as honorary pallbearers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, JC & Martha Green; grandparents, Earl & Lorene Green, Tom and Lora Hill.
He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Jessie Green & Anna Green; brother, Benny Green; & niece, Candace Green Wood.
