Funeral service for Jerry Wayne Garrison, age 56, of Decatur, will be Friday, December 10, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Callahan and Bro. Nathan Green officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery, Hartselle.
Mr. Garrison, who died Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born June 11, 1965, in Decatur, to Winford Bill Garrison and Sharlene Ferguson Garrison. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelley Garrison, his parents, and one brother, Gary Garrison. Mr. Garrison was employed as a crewman by Decatur Utilities. In 1994, he answered a call to Christian ministry.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Vicky Niles Garrison of Decatur; one son, Jonathan Garrison (Sarah) of Decatur; two daughters, Jessica Pena (Dominick) of Trinity, and Amanda Graham (Colby) of KY; and five grandchildren, Kaylee, Jackson, Sydney, Weston, and Khloe.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Garrison, Colby Graham, Dusty Pena, Chris Kauffman, Brian Ferguson, and Nathan Green.
