Jerry Wayne Cruce, age 85, of Dora, passed away on March 1, 2024. He was the cherished and loving husband of Mary Sue Thomas Cruce.
He is survived by his wife; children, Greg (Rebecca) Cruce, Steve (Jin) Cruce, Karen McMichens (David) Beard, Kristi McMichens (Chane) Spendlove, and Kimberly McMichens (Brandon) Bonds; grandchildren, Chris Cruce, Matt (Kelsey) Cruce, Taylor Cruce (Reed) Massengill, Jordan Cruce, Tyler Beard, Kaeli Huddleston, Cole (Grace) Huddleston, Brantly Bonds (Trent Shedd), and Kamryn Bonds; great-grandchildren, Keegan Cruce, Daniel Weber, Kane Cruce, Levi Massengill, Luke Massengill, Rolan Cruce, and Lainey Huddleston; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bertie Lee Jackson Cruce and Rex Burl Cruce; sister, Peggy Cruce Allums, and brother Bobby Cruce.
He retired as Service Manager for Cummins Alabama after 43 years of service. He was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at New Horizon Memorial Gardens, Dora, Alabama on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Services will begin at 2:00pm.
