Funeral services for Rev. Jerry W. Truett, age 84, will be held at 2PM Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, TN. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until service time on Sunday.
Rev. Truett was an Ordained Minister with the Assembly of God and served as a Pastor for over fifty years in TN and AR.
Rev. Truett passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 in Lakewood, FL.
Rev. Truett was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Ann Skelton Truett; his wife, Marilyn Sue Graves Truett; a daughter, Cathy Lynn Truett; and two granddaughters, Melissa Aaron and Emily Aaron.
Rev. Truett is survived by two daughters, Patricia Aaron and husband Steve of Bradenton, FL and Angela Phillips of Dyersburg, TN; a brother, Danny Truett of Huntingdon, TN; three grandchildren, Dusty Aaron and wife Jen, Brent Prescott and wife Chrissy, and Beth Patterson; and six great grandchildren, Payton, Colton, Aiden, Tera Beth, Eli, and Hannah.
