Jerry W. Olivis, age 81, of Littleville, AL passed away at his home on December 7, 2024. He was a member of Our Lady of The Shoals Catholic Church, Tuscumbia, AL. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 12 p.m. in Colbert Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Highway, 43 S. Tuscumbia, AL on

Jerry was born in Jackson, TN. He graduated from South Side High School, Memphis, TN. After graduation he joined the Army and retired from the Army Reserves. He was also a retired engineer from Norfolk Southern Railway. His favorite things to do were drag racing and ham radios. A special thanks to all his drag racing and ham radio buddies.

He leaves his wife of 62 years, Faye M. Olivis of Littleville, AL; his son, Anthony

Olivis of Sheffield, AL; his daughter, Alicia Whitehead, and her husband, Brad, of Muscle Shoals, AL; four grandsons, Cody W. Sills, of Florence AL, Jay Paul Olivis and wife TeeAnna, of Biloxi, MS, Nathan Whitehead and Trace Whitehead of Muscle Shoals, AL; two special nephews and their families, Kelly Dwayne Olivis and his wife, Erika, their sons, Cody and Cory Olivis; Monte Ray Olivis and his wife, Raylene, of Boque Chitto, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Toby Fred Olivis of Jackson, TN and Cora Juanita Mann of Memphis, TN and a brother, Larry Fred “Pete” Olivis of Water Valley, MS.

We would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful care.
