Jerry Rogers, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at The Meadows. He was born November 26, 1942 to the late Oscar Rogers and the late Edna May Duke Rogers. He retired from True Temper Sports after many years of service.
Services will be 1:30 pm, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Senter Funeral Home.
Survivors include his Wife, Mitsie Rogers of Fulton; Son, Wes (Karen) Rogers of Electic, AL; Granddaughter, Sophie-Jane Rogers; Grandsons: Cooper and Coleman Rogers; Brother, Berry Rogers of Fulton; Sisters: Betty (Billy) Rogers of Mantachie and Connie Rogers Lesley of Ash Flat, AR; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, previous wife, Wanda Jane Rogers, Brothers: George, Alton, Alvie “Buck”, CD, Lee Roy, Quitman “Pete”, Oscar Edward “Dick”, Dexter, and Paul Rogers; Sisters: Mabel Rogers, Myrtle Wigginton, Vena Mae McCary, Willie Tom Crum, Dollie Ruth Johnson, Lela Rogers, and Lena Thomas.
Pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Charlie Vaden Smith, Crawford Smith, John Paul Rogers, Danny Wigginton, Randall Wigginton, Keith Johnson, and Doug Johnson.
