Mr. Jerry Ray Threet, Sr., age 75, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Threet was born June 19, 1942 in Limestone County to James Samuel Threet and Gladys Ham.
Mr. Threet was preceded in death by his parents, and his granddaughter, Rachel Nayman.
He is survived by his wife Tena Threet, of Decatur; sons, Jerry Ray Threet, Jr. and wife Annette and Jason Threet and wife Nancy, both of Athens, Alabama; daughters, Jenny Threet, of Athens, Alabama, and Lora Lawrence and husband Tyler, of Tacoma, Washington; grandchildren, Julian Threet, Sydney Rowell, Anna Lawrence, and Cash Lawrence; and great-grandchild, Nellie Ruth Rowell.
