Jerry Parsons, 74, of Cherokee, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jonathan Handley officiating. Burial will follow in Asphalt Rock Cemetery.
Jerry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
He was preceded in death by his wife Diane Parsons.
He is survived by his son, Chuck Murphy, and wife Lisha; brothers, Eddie Nels Parson and wife Carolyn; sisters, Beverly Hall and husband Larry, and Susan Mills and husband Mike; grandson, Levi Murphy; and host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
