Jerry “P-Joe” Brady Johnson, age 76, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by family, Monday, February 23, 2026, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Friday, February 27th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Randy Riggs and Bro. Larry Dunlap officiating.
Burial will follow in Goodsprings Cemetery in Pleasant View with Brent Johnson, Todd Johnson, Ryan Parker, Matthew Nicholson, Benji Knight, and Logan Hunter serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26th from 4:00-8:00PM, and again on Friday beginning at 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mr. Johnson was born on December 24, 1949, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Samuel & Juanita Pinkleton Johnson. Jerry was the owner and started Innovative Energy Solutions. He was a great electrician and created 7 patents. He loved to laugh, joke, and to help people along the way. Jerry was a friend to many, a great husband, dad, grandfather and was a member of Good Springs Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Tom, Susan, Larry, and Bill; and granddaughter, Ellison “Ellie” Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Janice Johnson; son, Andy “Kristen” Johnson; brothers, Lewis Johnson and Pat “Sherry” Johnson; and grandchildren, Evie and Millie Johnson.
