Memorial service for Jerry Orman Parker, age 63, of Decatur, will be Friday, August 28, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God Epicenter, Highway 20, Decatur, with Rev. George Sawyer officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.
Mr. Parker, who died Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at his residence, was born November 17, 1951, in Decatur, to Ted and Lucille Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Shelba Henderson. Mr. Parker was a 1970 graduate of Priceville High School, and was retired from Decatur Utilities.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Parker; two sons, Eric Parker (Angie), and Aran Parker (Angela); three sisters, Marsha Hathaway (Ron), Judy Ramey (Wallace), and Gay Brown; and five grandchildren, Molly, Jake, Eli, Riley, and Tyler.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, P. O. Box 2745, Decatur, AL 35602.
