Jerry Michael “Mike” Chapman, 59, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Union County, MS. Mike had spent his working years farming, in the factories, and welding. He enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, and cooking. He loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Mike is survived by his two sons, Chris Chapman and Aron Chapman; two brothers, Jeffery Chapman and Shane Chapman; sister-in-law, Bobbie Chapman; his special cousin and friend, Leamon Martinez and family; his nieces, Kimberly Raines, Emily Barnes, Brittany Clark, Brittany Walker his cousin, Helen Washington and family; and his aunts, Margo, Carolyn, Rita, and Cathy
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelby Chapman; father, Jerry Chapman; sister, Marsha Reynolds; and his grandparents, Alvis and Veola Brown and Dennis and Artilene Chapman.
Services will be Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 4PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Pete Gregory officiating. Visitation will begin at 2PM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Hartwell Tutor Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Chapman, Leamon Martinez, Daniel Martinex, Jeff Washington, Barry Martinex, and Christian Romero.
