Thomas Jerry McCLure Profile Photo Jerry McClure, 79, left his earthly body for his Heavenly home on February 8, 2024. He was welcomed home by his mother and dad, Ben and Velma McClure.  Born in Hubbertville in Fayette County, Alabama, he grew up and spent most of his adult life in Tuscaloosa. He is survived by one son, Jay McClure (Lindsay) and one daughter Misty McClure Fanning (Brad); five grandchildren Riley, Sadie, Daniel Paul, Brady and Clay; one sister, Peggy McClure Reynolds (Dan), two nephews, Jason Stapp (Julie) and Matthew Stapp (Tracy); two great nephews, John Colby Stapp and Morgan Stapp and two great nieces, Kylee Stapp Medders (Deacon) and Hannah Stapp and three great-great nieces, Tinleigh, Arabella, and McCall; and a host of beloved cousins and friends.  Jerry was a 1962 graduate of Tuscaloosa High School and a graduate of Livingston University. He was employed as a foreman by Gulf States Paper Corporation.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Wyatt Funeral Home, 707 Temple Avenue N., Fayette. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be no graveside service. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to help someone in need. Jerry will be greatly missed here, but we will see him again in his new and pain-free body.
