Jerry Mac Wales, 73, of Athens, passed away on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, at Huntsville-Hospital. Mr. Wales was born on February 3rd, 1948, to Kelly Wales Jr. and Elizabeth Inez Cox Wales.
Mr. Wales is survived by his wife Gail Wales; daughter Cindy Wales; grandchildren Brittany Green, Shellie Wise; Kellie Tucker (Michael), Cameron Green, and Heather Wise; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Beth Childers, sister Judy Vassar, and granddaughter Megan Green.
Funeral services for Mr. Wales will be on Monday, January 24th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Pat Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 24th, from 12:00-1:45p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald Vassar, Jay Vassar, Aaron Anderson, David Joyce, Mickey Lovell, and Ricky Anderson.
