Jerry Lloyd Whitley

Age 70 of White House passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown. He was born July 29, 1950 in Nashville, TN to Lloyd L. and Faye P Whitley. He worked in Quality Control/Dispatching for Ideal Concrete until his retirement. Mr. Whitley was a born leader and took charge of most every situation. He enjoyed attending NASCAR races,watching Titans Football, fishing and eating oysters. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pamela Kay Whitley who predeceased him on March 31, 2021; sister-in-law, Carlene Whitley. He is survived by his son, Jerry (Debbie) Whitley, Springfield, MO; daughter, Marcie (Jeff) Riis, Gallatin, TN; brother, Gary Anthony “Tony” Whitley, Nashville, TN; sisters, Shirley (Johnny) Wallace, Greenbrier, Tn and Debbie (Ricky) Pemberton, Goodlettsville, TN; 4 grandchildren, Jerry Whitley, Justin Whitley, Joey Riis and Sam Riis; 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 2pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Bob Cook officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 27, 2021 10am until 2pm at the funeral home.
