Jerry Lewis “Big Jerry”, age 83 of Cordova, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Whitehouse Church of Christ Cemetery in Marion County. Earl Barnett will officiate.
Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his Parents-Jesse James and Cora Lewis; Brother-Charles Lewis.
He is survived by his Wife-Katie of 63 years; Sons-Jerry Jr. (Cindy) and Nick (Jill); Grandchildren-Kyle Dunlap, Craig Lewis, Blake Lewis (Carlee), Jillian (Matt), Jessica Beard (Shelton) and Emily Lewis; Great Grandchildren-Charley, Drew, Harrison, Leandor, Tucker Rex, Scarlett and Sophia.
Much heartfelt appreciation to his special friend and caregiver, Wayne Brown. Thanks to Comfort Care Hospice, especially his nurses and caregivers, Brittany, John, Jane and Bridgette.
Pallbearers will be Kyle, Craig, Blake, Jack Scott, Jake Brown and Wayne Brown.
