Jerry L Parker, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo. He was born February 2, 1944, to the late Fred Parker and the late Quilla Mae Humphries Parker in Tremont. Jerry was a lifelong member of Providence Baptist Church. He was a dedicated employee for 30 years at Mueller Industries before retiring in 1996. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing poker with his buddies, and “tinkering” with just about anything but spending time with his family brought him his most enjoyment.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday May 13, 2026, at Providence Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Lentz officiating. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday May 13th at the church.

He is survived by his daughters, Tonia (Timothy) Dill of Tupelo, and Tammie Sartin of Golden; son, Billy Dale (Jada) Parker of Tremont; grandchildren, Angie (Toby) Kinder of Golden, and Scott (Kaity) Parker of Tremont; great grandchildren, Mason Parker, and Jakob Parker; brothers, Larry Parker and Billye Noel (Margaret) Parker, both of Tremont, and sister, Dawn (David) Swindle of Hodges, AL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laree Parker; parents, Fred and Quilla Mae Parker; son, Jerry “Jake” Lowell Parker, Jr.; grandson, Truman Dill, and son in law, Ronnie Sartin.
