Jerry “Jerry Mac” MacArther Thompson, age 75 of Sumiton, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his residence with his loved ones by his side.
Funeral service will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rance Clemens will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Margurite; sons, James Edward (Claudette), Lonny Wayne (Crystal); daughter, Amber Lane Reno (Joe).
He was a member of New Beginnings Church in Graysville, a member of Brooklin Masonic Lodge No. 704, and a truck driver for many years.
