Jerry Jay Evans, age 72, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, died Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.
Mr. Evans was born on November 18, 1952, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Jerry & Mary Farris Evans. He was a retired cabinet maker who loved to fish and hunt.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Evans; brother, Kenny Harter; and sisters, Susie Dennis and Judy Tolar.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Evans; daughter, Wendy McGill; brothers, James Harter, Billy Evans, and Jeff Evans ;sister, Karon (Stephen) Haines; daughter-in-law, Kendra Evans; and numerous loving grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
His wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned.
