Jerry Inman of Guys, TN was born July 27, 1943 in Adamsville, TN the son of the late C. S. and Nelia Lipford Inman. He was united in marriage to Peggy Smith on November 22, 1963. Jerry owned Inman Brothers Auto Mart in Selmer, TN. He previously had worked at Brown Shoe Company in Selmer.

Jerry loved his family and had a special love for his grandchildren. He liked cars, enjoyed Nascar, and going to car shows. He departed this life on January 5, 2019 in his home at the age of 75 Years, 5 Months, 9 Days.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Inman of Guys; a son, Steve Inman and wife Debbie; a daughter, Amy Tucker; three grandchildren, Matt Inman, Laura Kate Inman, Tessa Tucker; two sisters, Marie Shelton, Dorothy Nichols; two brothers, Loyce Inman, Larry Inman; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by four brothers, Loyd Inman, J. D. Inman, Thomas Inman, Robert Inman.
